I never planned on blogging about fashion. But recently I find myself drawn to fashion and bloggers on the subject. I found one in particular that stood out above the rest. She is a Swedish gal by the name Elin Kling and her blog is Style By Kling. Her outfit here sent me over the edge. Looks like I might be a little late to her party, I am sure many MANY people know of her. I just couldn't keep my mouth closed on this one.
BluePrint Cleanse Review
I promised this post a long time ago, and I have been so bad at blogging this month. The reason, I must confess is that I am moving for the first time in 3 years. Which is the longest I have ever stayed in any one apartment since I moved to LA, 7 years ago. Needless to day I have ALOT of stuff to get rid off and pack. Anyhoo... in the previous post I think I mentioned my frustration with starting the Blue Print Cleanse. Once I started the cleanse I was so happy. I was actually never hungry during the cleanse. There was a brief moment in between juice 3, 4 and 5 of the first day where I thought I was hungry. Key word here, "thought". I have never been a proponent of detoxing your body in extreme ways. I am a firm believer that your body was made to naturally detox. I am a runner and avid outdoors girl and I believe that all the good fresh produce I eat, the nearly 120 ounces of water I drink and my daily sweat is about all I need to detox. Though back when I was bartending in Hollywood, about 5 years ago, I did try the Master Cleanse. It was the most awful experience. I was so sick, I had to be sent home from work on the second day. It was supposed to last for 7 days. That didn't happen. I vowed to never do a juice cleanse again!

I have visited New York City dozens of times. And yet, though I've never been a resident, I have this strong affinity for it. I still harbor hope that I will someday live there, no matter how brief and live in full experience. In the meantime, this time lapse video is so amazing and well-done, it nearly brought me to tears. Happy Monday!

I might be a little late to the party, but I just joined Tumblr. Join me... Happy Friday!
Designer Inspired Runs
Since just wrapping up my blog posts on my first marathon, I find it not coincidental that this weekend marks, not only, my 2 year anniversary of my marathon premiere but also the culmination of my marathon training for my 3rd marathon, my 20 mile run (for the Seattle Rock N Roll). So, I thought it appropriate to share some something and someone that inspires me, as a designer, runner and in life generally, Julian Bialowas and his project 365Q.
Here's to my 20 miles tomorrow and to tapering in the rest of the weeks to come!
