Seeing a nutritionist can seem like a scary and intimidating thing. But it doesn’t have to be! What it really comes down to is just finding the RIGHT person. Someone you can relate to. Someone who gets you.
I often tell my clients there are two ways to work: 1, full force major overhaul, or, 2, bite-sized (pun-intended) manageable steps. And honestly, I went through this whole process myself, so I know what worked for me - it was those modest incremental changes over time. And it’s still a process. We aren’t perfect beings. That’s what makes us human. That’s what makes us each unique and special individuals.
I have clients in both categories. Both ways are great and will get you where you want to go. It’s what works for you and what YOU want to do. I do find, more often than not, small changes seem to be preferred and make for long lasting, sustainable change.
I believe food is medicine and has the power to heal - but I also believe food should be fun and enjoyable. It’s a part of our culture, who we are and a large part of our social being. There is no cookie-cutter formula for resolving any one issue. So I enjoy working one-on-one with my clients. Each person is a unique case and requires unique plans and goals.

As a culture we can put a lot of emotions into food and what we consume. Nothing is ever black or white, good or bad.
