I am not a huge fan of Valentine's day. Mainly because I was single for so long and it just seemed to bring me and all my single gals down. Last year was one of the first times I celebrated it with a bf I truly love with all my heart. I will admit it was special. Along with a romantic meal at Ado in Venice, I even managed to DIY his gift based after this lovely etsy shop by sarah & bendrix (except mine was white and red). I really love how it came out. And it's really a piece of art you can display year round!

But this February 14th will be pretty low key. Not big dinner out, no big gift or celebration. We like to celebrate each other everyday. So, this year I will be focusing on friends and family on Valentine's Day to make sure they know how luck I feel I am to have them in my life.

Although I know many many of you do celebrate it. And I thought this etsy shop by Tenisha was just to adorable to not share.

I heard a startling statistic from the fun people at RadioLab: 92% of people DON'T keep their resolutions. Whew! That's high. That means in a room of 100 people only 8 of us will keep their resolutions. Sheeesh. So, here's to being the 8! I thought I would share a few of my "intentions" for 2012 with you, in hopes that in sharing them I will hold myself just a little bit more responsible for manifesting them.

The Flats of Tel-Aviv

Welcome back to from the holidays. I'm already back at work. But daydreaming for sure about this amazing residential flat on the Mediterranean Sea. Restored by Pitsou Kedem Architects. I'd move to Israel for this flat, or just a small visit.

Rollin' Around

It's official I have been back from Costa Rica for a week now. I wasted no time finding a new car for the one that was taken from me at the end of July. 4 months without a car in LA = in better shape and tired. So, in the last few days I have been gettin' used to my first convertible. It's mini-licious!

The bf and I even bundled up and drove with the top down up to Malibu for brunch on sunday. I can just feel it, my first speeding ticket is around the way ;) This thing is just too much fun. It's the best Christmas present ever!

Costa Rica

I can't explain to you how super excited I am for tomorrow. I will be taking the red-eye flight to Costa Rica tomorrow. The first two days we will be spending at the base of an active volcano, Arenal.

Then the BF booked us a 6 day yoga retreat on the beaches of Costa Rica. I am super super excited. Every morning we get up and do yoga for a few hours, then the rest of the day we get to relax on the beach, lounge on the pristine beaches or a zip line jungle canopy tour or hike in the rainforest, crocodile tour, or shopping in town, so much or so little to do! We even have a personal chef, and I hear the food is great. They will even serve us a Thanksgiving meal on Thursday!

So enjoy your Thanksgiving. I know I will be!
